Over 55 Years of Manufacturing Led to Lifetime Bunkhouses
For more than 55 years, Gary Otterbacher has earned a reputation for building products that are high quality, durable, strong, well-designed, and innovative. With Lifetime Products, Gary continues that tradition by manufacturing durable aluminum and steel bunkhouses, ticket boxes, benches, and custom products for amusement companies, first responders, and other road-based operations.
In 1971, Gary Otterbacher built his first game trailer piece by piece, hauling the unfinished trailer from spot to spot while working in the amusement industry. Back then, he saw the need for a well-built trailer that could stand up to the abuses of the road. This single game trailer grew into Otterbacher Mfg., which set the standard for trailers in the amusement industry for more than 25 years. Game, concession, and office trailers, as well as living quarters and ticket boxes, were all custom-made with steel and aluminum, never wood.
In 2001, Gary started Hi-Way Star Trailers with the same philosophy of building durable, high-quality trailers. Hi-Way Star trailers were made on an all-steel frame with an aluminum outer body. For more than 55 years, Gary has earned a reputation for building trailers that are high quality, long-lasting, durable, strong, well-designed, and innovative. After spotting another need in the amusement industry for a high-quality, durable, low-maintenance bunkhouse trailer, Gary started Lifetime Products Bunkhouses to continue providing the industry with high-quality, high-value trailers.
